Well, John, look around! Things have drastically changed. I would have had all those “things” you have. But I got sick through no fault of mine - a genetic disease, and lots of people have the misfortune to have some “mistaken” DNA - and we do get sick. I LOST all those things like you have and like to righteously brag about. Well, that’s good for you. But why don’t you develop some compassion and kindness for others not as fortunate as you. THAT would ease things for people like me. Yes I had good healthcare because of our govt. But I also had to spend up all my resources, sell my home and lose my car eventually. Just don’t be so HIGH AND MIGHTY about your successes. You got lucky. Try gratitude instead.
