The powerful combination of knowing your emotional side then matching that with your rational, logical mind can’t be beat for making good decisions. Sadly, most people aren’t encouraged to trust the intuitive side of their thinking. It does work, though. I pay attention to those nudges now, and have likely already been doing some fact-based research into a question. Some decisions take longer to make, like a big physical move, or choosing to spend more time with someone.

Good article. I do find your simple spelling and punctuation errors distracting, though, Thomas. You have a lot of very interesting and thoughtful things to say. But sometimes I stop reading because the errors really get under my skin (and brain). Hire an editor if you don’t want to do it. Or just read through aloud, and buy “Elements of Style,” a slim book by Strunk & White which has helped millions of writers.
