Thank you so much for this recommendation of another - apparently MUCH BETTER - translation of The Odyssey. I copied the translator's name down and will track down her translation - of "a story about a complicated man." New translations of Russian authors changed the whole game for me - Anna Karenina became a new character as did all her men!
