Jennifer, I liked a lot of what you have in this article. I think, in fact, it could easily be three different articles! I would love to hear more about your cat. I recently lost my lovely cat, Violet, and I could write reams about what it’s like to have a cat in my life — all of which I honestly learned after she was gone. I wrote a story about her here on Medium.
