It seems like they’re also looking at “readership” — things like number of times viewed AND number read. Some of my stories, not longer than 3 minutes so far, have gotten 100% on both those qualifiers. I DO read poetry and when I choose one, I read it all the way through — usually more than twice, in fact almost always more than once. And give anywhere from 20 to 50 claps. Poetry remains important to good writing of any genre. Please hang in there, and see how this rolls out. I do hear you. But I’m also sticking with my 3 minutes for now. I don’t do that on purpose, but just get to the end and feel no need to “plump” it up. And some authors over-write and I quit reading halfway through. So there’s that, too. Poetry is the bomb. I learned so much about being a warrior editor from it.
