I was wondering if his wife worked at Mayo (in Rochester, MN) or Cleveland Clinic, Ohio. At Mayo - people aren't very friendly at all. At Cleveland Clinic, though, and I was a fortunate patient there who got a liver transplant in 2016. But people were friendly in Cleveland itself, everywhere I went. So, maybe it was NYC? I have no idea.
