Hi Livia, I live in Denver (also arid heat) in a nice community on senior (62+). Affordable is key! Especially in Denver, which is very expensive. I've thought of moving to another country - but it isn't feasible/doable for me. I had a long disease (11 yrs) and a transplant at the end of it - that pretty much used up the resources I had gathered over years of work, all that. I'm glad to be in Denver and Colorado. It's called a trifecta Blue/Dem state - Dem governor, legislature, sec. of state, 2 Dem Senators, most of our reps in the House are Dem (exception: Boebert!). There's also a great transit system within Denver Metro area and even longer-range buses to other towns - all very affordable. I don't have a car, but it's mostly okay. I can get rides from neighbors and take Lyft or Uber sometimes. I just miss my drives up into the mountains to hike. But I can see them from my front yard! Please enjoy Spain!
