Hi Livia, I just finished a response to you about moving. But then I wanted to read your article about "going Walden." I agree with your ideas and even your ideal life. But even Mr. Thoreau didn't live in Walden per se for more than a year. He also had community and I believe family nearby. Because of out inborn humanity to live within community, I do hope you have community nearby. I've always been able to be alone and do well with that - creativity is what I live on, from the time I was very young. But I had people to play with, to communicate with and even depend on. I hope you develop that. The pandemic nearly did me in with the required isolation. I'm a transplant recipient so was highly aware all the time of being careful, wearing good masks, not touching my face, washing hands all the time. But it drove me buggy after awhile! I worry about needing a good hospital nearby - so even think of moving to Cleveland (where I had my transplant) - regardless of Jim Jordan's presence and all the boogeymen in that red state.
I subscribed so I can get a notice when you post an update. I wish you the VERY BEST in your endeavors. And just want to stay connected. Thanks for your courageous move - that is infectious! In many good ways!!
