Have you ever seen Ayn Rand’s name linked with any other 20th century philosophers? I haven’t, and I read a lot of philosopher from the 20th century, Post-Modernists, plus the earlier 19th and yes, Greek philosophers while I earned my master’s degree in humanities; the focus material in that degree was philosophy. No mention of her name ever. She’s also very anti-feminist, to the point of being truly disgusting (all you need is this strong man telling you every move to make). Why do you think Republicans like her so much? Reflects their disgusting views about humanity. I’d actually call her a fourth-rate thinker, truth be told. So if you’re a Republican, I can see how she appeals to you.
