But there's no going back now. I lived in Hawaii during the 70s. When the container ships stopped coming - WE were out of everything. Start with TP, next dog food, canned goods. But we were creative. I sewed a large purse so I could steal TP from Univ. of Hawaii where I was a student (at only $85 PER semester - yes, really). Lived 5 to an apartment - we had fun! PLUS the food was ALWAYS more expensive. I went to a trading store on the Navajo reservation and their prices were EVEN HIGHER - I chided the meek Christian behind the counter - er - RANTED at him. Mofo. (people have always been stealing from the Navajos and other indigenous). We're complaining now. JUST WAIT till the hyper-inflation then recession and SLIDING into depression. Oh yeah
