Anyone who starts and completes a novel gets a Big Nod from me! I started and completed two of them. I don’t know how disciplined I was, or how much I really knew about writing one. But I do know it was the most fun I’d ever had doing anything. So I’m totally in, and still learning more as I go.

And I’m going to encourage you to set some goals/deadlines whatever you want to call it around the rewrite. There can be many, there can be one and done. But there is always rewriting. There’s a ton of advice out there, so I’m not offering any. The main thing getting me through mine now is the fact that I totally love my characters (they are better than best friends!) and I want to give them the best send-off possible. I hope you feel the same way about one or more aspects of your book!
